Beth Krebs creates installations that propose quirky interventions in ordinary spaces. She has made site responsive projects for venues in New York and abroad, including the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Smack Mellon Gallery, the Bronx Museum, Storefront Ten Eyck, the Cue Foundation, Real Artways, and the Architekturmuseum Schwaben in Augsburg, Germany. For the past eight years she has worked with elementary and high school students as a Lead Teaching Artist with the Joan Mitchell Foundation and the Brooklyn Arts Council, teaching visual arts classes that include Banquet: Art Inspired by Food, Monsters Robots and Aliens, Wearable Art, Superheroes, Wild Things, and Hidden Worlds.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and a Masters of Fine Arts from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She believes deeply in art making as a way for all kinds of students to solve problems and share what they care about.
